PTOSIS : DROOPING EYELID

Droopy eyelid or ptosis is a condition in which the affected eye appears smaller and does not open fully. It not only affects vision but the resulting facial asymmetry is prominent and plays havoc with the self esteem of the individual. Ptosis can be present since birth, called congenital Ptosis or acquired later on. The only treatment of Ptosis is Surgery.
